Interviewing Amazing Bloggers on Christmas – Blogmas Day 5

One of my favourite things about blogging is the people I get to meet. It’s not easy, as we get older to meet new people, and that’s because we know now what type of company we want to keep.

I’ve been exceptionally lucky with the guys and gals I have met so far that I can now call my friends. They’re super talented, and all blog about different things, so I knew I had to introduce a few of them to you.

I asked 5 different ladies the same questions about Christmas, and I love their responses. I hope you do too.

Kath – Cherries In The Snow

Kath is a beauty and lifestyle blogger. I love her product reviews, and the advice she offers when it comes to what to purchase and from where. I met Kath on twitter, and we finally got to meet when Danielle hosted an event with Clarins. It was like we’d always known one another, and have kept in touch ever since.

1 – In 3 words, what does Christmas mean to you?

Love, magic and togetherness.

2 – What’s your favourite Christmas tradition?

On Christmas Day morning, all of our family heads to mt Aunty’s house to exchange gifts. She has a huge buffet and a bowl of punch for us all to enjoy. Even though everyone is busy, it’s a moment where everyone is together.

3 – What is 1 gift you’ve asked for this year & you’re hoping to find under your tree?

I’ve asked Santa for a bottle of Chloe perfume. It’s my signature scent, and I’ve been through about 10 bottles.

4 – What colour scheme is your Christmas tree this year?

We have an artificial tree covered in gold and red decorations, and tinsel. My family like traditional colours and trinkets. I love helping to put the tree up and decorate it.

5 – You’re hosting a dinner party for your family and friends, and you can invite 3 celebrities (alive), who would you ask?

Cillian Murphy, from Peaky Blinders. I have a celeb crush on him. Tom Hanks, he seems so genuine and down to earth. I bet he’d be so interesting to chat to. Adele, I adore her music and love her fiery and funny personality.

Natalie – Natalie Leanne

Natalie is a friend I have made online. That is something I’d never thought I’d say. But connecting via twitter and instagram is a great way to meet other bloggers. I’ve been so lucky to meet her, as she’s honestly one of the most kind and supportive girls ever. Natalie blogs about lifestyle, beauty and slow living.

1 – In 3 words, what does Christmas mean to you?

Christmas in 3 words is family, happiness and festivities.

2 – What’s your favourite Christmas tradition?

My favourite tradition is texting my sister on Christmas morning and through the night, to see if any of us are awake, because we’re too excited to sleep.

3 – What is 1 gift you’ve asked for this year & you’re hoping to find under your tree?

I’ve asked my Mum for a few Glossier goodies this year. Excited to try them, hopefully.

4 – What colour scheme is your Christmas tree this year?

We have a regular green tree, with lots of silver baubles and lights on it.

5 – You’re hosting a dinner party for your family and friends, and you can invite 3 celebrities (alive), who would you ask?

Oh, that is a tough one. I have quite a random mix, but I’d love to invite the Dalai Lama because I would love to chat about life. Taylor Swift, because I’ve been a massive fan girl of hers for years. And, Blake Lively, so she can give me some wardrobe tips.

Spreading The Love

2 – What’s your favourite Christmas tradition?

My favourite Christmas tradition is putting Christmas movies on and doing a bunch of festive baking.

3 – What is 1 gift you’ve asked for this year & you’re hoping to find under your tree?

One gift I asked for this year was new make up storage. It’s about time I upgraded.

4 – What colour scheme is your Christmas tree this year?

My tree in my bedroom is white and pale gold.

5 – You’re hosting a dinner party for your family and friends, and you can invite 3 celebrities (alive), who would you ask?

I don’t know if you’d consider these as celebrities, but I’d ask Lily, Joslyn and Meghan from Clever Style (YouTube channel). They are three of the funniest people you will ever meet!

Allie – Tie Dye Eyes

Allie is one of the first bloggers I met, and she’s become a really good friend of mine. She is a beautiful and talented lady, running a fashion and beauty blog, and YouTube channel. Her sense of style is amazing, and hanging out with her is one of my favourite things to do.

Allie. Tie Dye Eyes. Fashion Blogger UK.

1 – In 3 words, what does Christmas mean to you?

Roasties, fairy lights and chocolate!

2 – What’s your favourite Christmas tradition?

We don’t have many Christmas traditions in our family, if any! But over the past few years my best friend Beth has come to our house on Christmas Eve for a hot chocolate (and a gin) which is something I look forward to every year.

3 – What is 1 gift you’ve asked for this year & you’re hoping to find under your tree?

My surprises have been totally spoiled this year! I have asked for some clothes and perfume, but had to try the clothes on before mum wrapped them up. I am really excited for my star print flares though, so festive.

4 – What colour scheme is your Christmas tree this year?

I honestly can’t remember because we haven’t got everything down from the loft yet! From what I remember, we have silver, red and a little bit of pink. There’s a bunch of decorations I picked out when I was a kid and refuse to let go of, so it’s all a bit mismatch, which I like.

5 – You’re hosting a dinner party for your family and friends, and you can invite 3 celebrities (alive), who would you ask?

Oooh this is a good one. First, I’d definitely invite Lady Gaga. That woman is incredible and I’d feel so inspired after listening to her talk (plus she’s apparently a pretty good cook). Then I’d invite Mark Hoppus. I’m a massive Blink-182 fan and could listen to his tales all day, and he’s hilarious. Finally, I’m going to give an answer which I think at least someone else is going to say too, but Louis Theroux! No explanation needed.

My Christmas Answers

Jessi. Jessi Lou Blog. Beauty Blogger.

Fancy knowing how I answered these questions too, here goes.

1 – In 3 words, what does Christmas mean to you?

Family, Sparkles and Reflection.

2 – What’s your favourite Christmas tradition?

I have a few Christmas traditions, so I’d have to say, attending Midnight Mass with my Mum. Christmas Eve meal out with my Dad and Sister. And our Boxing Day party we have at my husbands, Aunty’s house with all the family.

3 – What is 1 gift you’ve asked for this year & you’re hoping to find under your tree?

I have asked for a pair of pastel pink Gazelle, by Adidas Original’s. These are honestly the dreamiest trainers.

4 – What colour scheme is your Christmas tree this year?

Our tree is an artificial one, that has a theme of silver and red. Our silver/white baubles all match, and the red is made up of unique baubles I have collected over the years. I love that they’re mismatched, but all mean so much.

5 – You’re hosting a dinner party for your family and friends, and you can invite 3 celebrities (alive), who would you ask?

I know I came up with this question, but it’s really had me thinking. I’d have to ask Emma Stone, she’s my absolute favourite. Tim Peak, because I’d be fascinated to hear all about his experiences in space. Then my main babe, Katy Perry, she could bring her little dog Nugget too.

There you have it guys, 5 fantastic bloggers talking Christmas. I hope you’ve loved getting to know these gals, and you give them all a follow and check out their amazing blogs. If you fancy answering these questions, or using them to ask to others for a blog post, be sure to tag me in them, and use the tag #ABloggersChristmas.

Love, Jessi
