I have walked past this little shoe store on Keys Court in Liverpool One for years, it is tucked away in the little passage beside Topshop that leads to the luxury brands on St Peters Arcade. A couple of months ago my sister needed shoes for a special occasion and we had tried all the usual shops and nothing was standing out, so we popped to Moda and were so surprised by what was nestled inside the cute shop.
Moda has been retailing since 1975, but the brand really took off during the Noughties and has grown bigger and bigger. It specialises in affordable luxury, with modern and comfortable shoes in all kinds of styles. What I really like about this brand is the quality of the shoes, they’re all made of leather, and as well as looking good, are super comfy too. Plus, when there is a sale on you have to grab the shoes while you can as they only stock a few of the same sizes in each style. The sale prices are also brilliant, and sometimes offer a further discount off the marked price, this applies to in store and online.
Summer styles that are currently in store! Leopard print is my fave!
For the more dressy occasion. The Cristina shoes remind me of a Louboutin!
The staff are so helpful in the store, we could chill there a while, maybe not the Hubs!
I have got 2 amazing pairs of summer shoes from here recently and both for a bargain.
My tasseled wedges are so comfortable and are perfect day to night shoes. I love wedges as they go with so many outfits to dress them up or down, and the colour of the tassels on this pair are what really caught my eye.
My other summer purchase are my platform gold sliders. I was drawn to the silver pair of these, until the very kind lady working in the store pointed out the gold ones were in the sale. Stylish, comfortable, perfect for holiday, and in the sale – winner.
I know I buy far too many shoes, but I am a shoe lover more than anything. You can really make an outfit up with a fantastic pair of shoes, and when you want a statement shoe I always think it’s best to hunt around, and I’m so glad I found Moda as I think I’ll end up with so much more from here.
