Heavenly Desserts Opens in Liverpool

Some days can be tough, so why not brighten them up by looking at some delicious desserts. There just aren’t enough desserts in everyday life. But that’s about to change because last week Heavenly Desserts opened in Liverpool and trust me when I say it really is dessert heaven.

Liverpool is a buzz of new places opening up all the time, and I know it’s hard to keep track of which ones you want to try next. There isn’t anything like Heavenly Desserts in the city, so this needs to be near the top of your “To Try” list.

Heavenly Desserts, Liverpool

Heavenly Desserts – The Company

Heavenly Desserts was founded in 2008 and began expanding in 2012. There are now dessert parlours in Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Preston. They can also add Liverpool to that list now, as the latest store to open is here.

It’s new location of Liverpool One, opposite the Hilton Hotel, and just across from the Albert Dock, gives it prime position for passers by to notice it, and customers to enjoy the iconic scenery of the city.

Coffee time in Heavenly Desserts.

The ethos of the business is to come out and enjoy dessert with family and friends in a lovely environment, that looks like a high class restaurant. It serves up all kinds of desserts from melted cookie dough to cheesecakes, alongside delicious milkshakes and teas and coffees. There’s no alcohol served as this is not what Heavenly Desserts is about. Rather than heading there for a drink, they want you to come in for a dessert treat instead.

It’s the perfect place to head to for coffee and cake, for your dessert after a meal, or even a late night snack.

Our selection of desserts

My gorgeous friend Danielle, who runs daniellelevy.co.uk, invited me along with her to the VIP launch of Heavenly Desserts. We were joined by other bloggers from across the city, to try out a number of the desserts on offer. I’ve never been to any of their other stores before, so I was excited to see what we could try.

Heaven;y Desserts Menu

The menu is full of fantastic looking desserts, so there is something for everyone on here. Classic dessert lovers will enjoy the Victoria Sponge cake, and tasty cheesecakes. If you’ve got a real sweet tooth, then you’ll love the melted cookie dough dessert, as well as the French Crepe’s.

Crepe with Nutella and Hazelnut topping. Delicious!

I'll Have What She's Having. American Waffles.

“I’ll Have What She’s Having” – American Waffles with Nutella and Raspberry sauce, topped with Strawberries and Ice cream. Fantastic.

Warm Cookie Dough with Melted White Chocolate,

Cookie Dough with melted white chocolate. The greatest thing I’ve ever tasted!

There are variations of each of these dishes, and they come with different toppings. My favourite dessert from our tasting session was the White Chocolate Cookie Dough. It is served hot, and it’s so moreish. I know when I return with my husband we’ll have to order one each. He will not want to be sharing that, me either.

Get your taste buds ready

The cheesecakes – they didn’t last long.

So, what are you waiting for? I’m sure that by now, you want to come and visit, and order at least one of these desserts. The Liverpool store is open from 8am to 12am Sunday – Thursday. So you can nip of a morning for breakfast, and after work to stay for a good few hours and make your way through the menu.

On Friday’s and Saturdays it is open from 10am to 1.30am. So if you’ve always wanted a genuine midnight snack, then this is your spot!

Like Heavenly Desserts weren’t already answering all of our dessert dreams, they’ve gone and added a take out service from in store and their menu to Deliveroo services. Amazing.

If you go & check them out, then let me know if you loved it & what you ordered. Best of luck to the lovely team of people there and behind the business, I hope your Liverpool store is a great success.

Love, Jessi

This sounds like my dream place to eat. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever and everything just sounds so delicious. I might have to go and make it a 3 course dessert meal just so I can sample as much as I can!

Were there lots of chocolate-y options on the menu?

Heading here after a few drinks sounds like a friggin brilliant idea if I’m honest, those cheesecakes might have replaced my obligatory chicken nuggets! They look so so good!
