My Perfume Top Picks For Spring/Summer

This post is a paid collaboration.

Let’s chat perfumes. I don’t think I have done so on the blog before, but have wanted to for a while. I read a quote once by Coco Chanel about perfume – “No elegance is possible without perfume. It is the unseen, unforgettable, ultimate accessory.”

This is so true. I never feel fully ready until I have had my daily spritz of one of my favourite scents. I’m someone that likes to have quite a few perfumes in my collection in one go. I like to change up my fragrances depending on my mood, and the seasons. Which is why I thought I’d chat about the perfume I’m loving and lusting for this Spring/Summer.

Spring/Summer Wishlist

When the weather changes, and it becomes warmer, I want to feel fresh. I tend to reach for more floral and fresh smelling perfumes. I’ve had my eye on a few on the market for a while, and I think they would be perfect for this time of year.

One of them is Terre De Lumiere Eau De Parfum by L’Occitane. L’Occitane is a brand I have heard of for years, and walked past their store in Liverpool One, but never knew where to begin with them. I’ve now found my way in through this perfume.

The name alone with “Lumiere” in instantly makes me think of light. It gives me complete fresh and sunshine vibes, especially from the bottle. This would be perfect to spritz on for a holiday or date night.

Another perfumer on my wishlist is Viktor & Rolf, Flower Bomb. I’ve wanted this fragrance for so long. Not only does it come beautifully packaged, I’ve had a smell in store and it’s so pretty. The name Flower Bomb makes it perfect for Spring/Summer. I’d wear this one of a daytime, for work and weekends.

My Perfume Collection Loves

In my collection at home I have many perfumes that I love. I collect ones from Chanel, Dior, and Marc Jacobs. I also love high street fragrances from Rosie for Autograph (from M&S), as well as scents from Avon.

My two loves for Spring/Summer though are my new Gabrielle Chanel by Chanel, and Elizabeth Arden White Tea.

I got Gabrielle Chanel for Christmas, and honestly just started using it. I am precious with perfumes and hate the thought of them running out. So this one I was saving for the warmer weather.

It has a sweet scent to it, and is different to the deep musky scents of the Chanel Chance and No.5. I think it’s beautiful to wear of an evening if you’re heading out somewhere, as it gives me that added touch of glamour.

Elizabeth Arden White Tea was gifted to me a few months back, (massive thanks to the SEO team at Very, it was for creating this post). I waited a while to try it out, and the moment I smelt it regretted waiting. I am so thrilled that I discovered this fragrance. The smell is so fresh, so light, and very uplifting. I love to wear this of a daytime, especially on very summery days.

Smell great for Summer

I am so obsessed with these two fragrances, and recommend them so highly to you guys. If you’re near a store that stocks them, then definitely head there to try them out.

I’d love to hear if you’ve ever tried out the L’Occitane fragrances, or Flower Bomb.

Do you have a favourite perfume? And are you like me and change up your collection depending on the seasons?

Jessi xoxo

I need to experiment with perfumes more! I always seem to stick to the same one! That being said I did have a little sample of Dior by Dior and oh, OH, that was bloody gorgeous – might have to be my next scent!

I love having lots in my collection, as I feel different on each day, so that makes me choose different scents. There’s some lovely ones out there, but highly recommend Dior ones! x

I love Flower Bomb – it has to be one of my favourites. However the scent that I always go for is Valentina Pink. I wore it on my wedding day and every time I smell it brings back so many happy memories of that day. I just love it.
