If you know me then you know I am a jumpsuit lover. They’re a great alternative to jeans (which I seem to live in). They look effortlessly cool, like you’ve spent a while on your outfit. Plus, if you find the right one, they’re super comfy.
I love a jumpsuit for any occasion. Strolling through town, out for lunch, even to a party or wedding. A jumpsuit can be worn all year round too. They look great in any season.
They’re all over the highstreet (and catwalks) each season. A few of my favourite places to browse for them are Warehouse*, Zara, Mango and Primark.
For this post I’m going to show you how I would change up my Primark jumpsuit to take me from a daytime to nighttime look.
Day Time Style
For the summer I love wearing a jumpsuit. One with or without sleeves is perfect for the hot days we’ve finally been having.
For styling your jumpsuit for the day I would say pair it with trainers or sandals. I’m really loving styling things up with trainers and pumps right now.
I think if you have quite a girly look, for a jumpsuit or a skirt, it looks great when worn with trainers.
I’ve styled this look up with my ever trusty Converse. These babies go with everything. I’d really recommend investing in a pair of white classic Converse. I’ve had this pair now for about 8 years, and before that another pair also.
Team your day time look with relaxed make up, some sunnies, and a funky handbag. You’re set to go.
If you know you’re heading out in the evening and haven’t got time to change, then these simple changes could transform your look.
Take along with you an extra (nice) bag with some heels, a clutch bag, and some lipstick. Adding all these items to your jumpsuit day look will transform it.
The heels instantly make you feel more glam. Plus the clutch bag will add a touch of an evening feel also.
The main thing for me for a night time look is your lipstick. I love to wear a bold lip for a night out, and red is always my colour.
Don’t fear a red lip, try it out and rock it.
These few additions can take your look from summer BBQ, to cocktails on the town.
For finding your perfect jumpsuit, I would say invest in one that can take you from day to night. I have a collection of midi and full length ones. For day to night though I think a midi style works best.
Look for ones with a pattern on. Stripes and polka dots are really big right now, and a floral will never date.
A jumpsuit is flattering for all sizes of women. The different styles on the market from midi, straight leg, flared leg, with sleeves and sleeveless cater to all body hangups that we can suffer with.
If you’ve been looking for a jumpsuit for a while, then now is the season to get one. Get looking on the high-street in the likes of the Zara, Warehouse, Primark and Very for the style that will see you through the summers.
Are you a jumpsuit lover too? What is your favourite style to wear?
