Sunday’s are definitely my favourite day of the week. I love to spend them doing things that I love, or relaxing. They’re a day for me where I like to round off my week in the best way possible.
This past Sunday was one of those perfect days.
Barre Balance Studio Launch
Proud Friend Alert
My Sunday started off at the new Barre Balance Studio. Natalie, the founder and owner of Barre Balance Liverpool, came in to my life 7 months ago, and has had a huge impact on me.
I wrote about my journey with Barre a few months back now. I spoke about in the short time of committing to these new style workouts how I felt positive change in my body.
Now 7 months in to it I feel better than ever, both physically and mentally. Physically I am still getting used to half the movements, but mentally I am so present in every class and prioritise my time more now to feel more balance.
I am so proud of Natalie for all that she has achieved in such a short space of time. It just goes to show how much people thrive off the results and vibes from her and her classes. She’s such an uplifting person, and her positivity and determination is infectious.
Studio on Rumford Place, Liverpool, is now OPEN. All details for classes and timetable are in the above link for her website.
Coffee and Catch Ups
I really need to update my favourite coffee spots in town post as since then I have discovered and tried loads more.
Me and my lovely friend Sarah, you may know her as Saloca In Wonderland, grabbed coffee and cake on Sunday in a new spot. We checked out 200 Degrees Coffee.
It has opened up on the old spot of Patisserie Valerie in the Met Quarter. There are absolutely no signs of the old Parisian cafe. Instead there’s a really cool, urban, industrial coffee house.
We grabbed a spot by the neon fire, which got us in the mood for the fast approaching Autumn. The coffee was GOOD. I had a vanilla latte (obviously) and Sarah got a flat white. Both equally delicious and we paired them with a lemon muffin and caramel shortcake.
Following on from our chats over coffee, and putting the world to right, we headed for a mooch around the shops.
I love mooching, and creating wish-lists in my mind, and in the notes section on my phone.
We popped in to & Other Stories, this was the first time I had been in and I loved it. I now want my entire A/W19 wardrobe to be from there. From there we headed to Primark, where I grabbed some essentials (hairbands, hairclips).
Then we rounded off our mooching in TKMaxx. I just love it in there. I am on the hunt for a new handbag, but now I think I will just buy all the new Autumn candles instead.
My Sunday evening was rounded off with tea at home with Ste, and we watched a super cute new film on Netflix called Falling Inn Love.
I hope you enjoyed this day in the life, round up style post. I really enjoyed writing it. If you did, let me know & I’ll certainly share more.
